The Indian Festival

On March 17th 2012, the Uttar Pradesh Association of Detroit organized the festival of Holi, which marks the end of the winter and the beginning of Spring.
The event took place at the Indian Bharatiya Temple of Troy – Michigan. It was a great success as it gathered together hundreds of people born in India or with Indian ancestry. Most of them wore traditional folk costumes. On the stage, wonderful performers – singers, comedians and folk dance groups delighted the audience. Everybody enjoyed the Indian traditional cuisine, fine foods and drinks. BlueTone was one of the sponsors. Our colleague Sorin Olariu joined the festival to give away promotional items such as wall calendars, flyers, bookmarks, balloons and pens.
